MATERIAL & CARE

14K/18K SOLID GOLD

  • Even something as strong as 14k/18k solid gold deserves some loving. To maintain its beauty, scrub lightly with a toothbrush and warm water.
  • 14K GOLD-FILLED

  • Water and sweat resistant; second only to solid gold, providing a long life for your piece.
  • Even the finer things need TLC over time - you can maintain your jewelry’s shine with a dry polishing cloth or w gentle toothbrush and warm water.
  • Sensitive skin friendly.
  • RHODIUM PLATED OVER STERLING SILVER

  • Avoid water when wearing your piece, because over time the sterling silver will oxidize. However, the oils in your skin help keep sterling silver from oxidizing faster.
  • All of our plated pieces are nickel and lead free.
  • GOLD VERMEIL

      • Before exercising or showering, remove your vermeil jewelry. Clean your piece by buffing gently with a dry cloth and store it in your pouch.

    GEMSTONES

  • To keep gemstones clean and shiny use warm soapy water and a soft brush. Gemstones do not like chemicals or excessive temperature so please keep this in mind when cleansing.
    • PEARLS

    • Avoid direct contact with chemicals found in perfume or other cosmetics.
    • Avoid soaking in water
    • Keep your pearl jewelry separated from other jewelry to avoid scratches.
    • DIAMONDS

    • Even diamonds have their kryptonite. They may be the hardest natural substance but can still suffer from chips & small fractures from sharp blows. Use warm soapy liquid and a toothbrush, rinsing the stone and setting afterwards to ensure there is no residue.

    METAL SENSITIVITY

Our rhodium-plated-over-sterling-silver pieces are stated to be nickel and lead free. Our 14K gold-filled jewelry is described as sensitive-skin friendly, but this does not guarantee suitability for every wearer. We do not claim that every item is hypoallergenic.

If you have a known metal allergy or sensitive skin, contact us to confirm the materials in the specific piece, including earring posts and backs, and consult a dermatologist or other qualified healthcare professional to verify suitability before wearing. If irritation occurs, stop wearing the jewelry and seek professional advice.
